College-ruled lined binder paper (avoid wide-ruled lined paper [elementary students])

Composition Book (NO wire spirals allowed; 100pp are sewn down the center)

Blue or black ink ball point pens (always have 2 or 3 in your binder)

Pen/pencil pouch

Reinforcement seals (for repairing ripped holes in paper)

4GB+ flash drive (for saving any non-Google Docs documents)

Highlighters (always have 2 or three in your binder; various colors for color-coding)

Pencils with a personal pencil sharpener (used primarily for mapping activities)

VERY IMPORTANT: Ventura Unified School District does NOT permit students to carry permanent markers or correction fluid on campus due to prior vandalism of school property and students’ belongings. Keep permanent pens and liquid correction fluid at home! White correction tape IS permitted on campus.
